ATS proximity cards

Hello all,

I'm a newbie in RFID and I'm looking for some info about these cards:
w w w . utcfssecurityproductspages.eu/HQ/products_single.php?product=ATS1475
(and the reader: ...?product=ATS1192)

based on the description, they should be LF and pretty simple (containing a single 32bit integer), but the costs are extremely high (i expect some proprietary protocols), thus i'm looking for some way how to read / clone / emulate them.

Any info is welcome

Re: ATS proximity cards

Do you have one or more of these cards + a proxmark to start?

Re: ATS proximity cards

You have to look at a 125kHz tag with 4bytes password feature and a ROM-programmed UID of "4-billion combinations" (it should be a 32bit UID). The possibilities, to my knowlwdge, are very limited and they point out to T55x7 or AT88RF256 chips (I am inclined to think about the T55x7 because of the limited user area available bytes [the unknownk tag above tech specs says "4 user memory areas"] and the because they are more common).

Re: ATS proximity cards

Ok, the situation is like this...

We have an office rented in an administrative building, and the ATS system is installed there. We have the access cards, but according to their high price, the building owner charges us 50e for a damaged/lost card.

I have access to few cards (let say tens of them) and "swipe" them on multiple readers, but i do not have either any documentation or any "wired" access to any reader.

I was considering:
- finding some information about this particular system ATS1192/ATS1475
- trying some "cheap" ways of reading - maybe the cards use some standard protocol (but i'm too new to RFID, i don't know any)
- purchasing a RFID analyzer like proxmark3 - i do not have any at the moment

Re: ATS proximity cards

@Chura

Or there is maybe one other way

You talk Euro, there is maybe someone with a proxmark3 near you. I came across lot of German literature proposing feature of proxmark3. Why don't just ask loud for help?

Thinking to get a Proxmark is good and aspiring. But $400 to $500 a unit (with price tag, and clearance and export and import tax) is a lot, plus also the stiff curve of learning to get the PM working on linux or window or OS Mac, your system and once you got so far stifter to get starting too, a lot & too demanding just to own a few new cards. You seem to be business man, during that time in your field you might make load of money already, never mind these few annoying expensive entry cards.

We, on the other hand want the KNOW to test our limit and to come further, any chance to send 1 card to us, with guarantee we send back ASAP as it is studied. Where are you based?

Is this way OK, we would be breaking no laws then @Asper?

Re: ATS proximity cards

The post was made in April and no one answered. If help is needed just ask, if an answer will come this will be a good thing, if not probaly no one is interested in the subject.

Info/tags exchange can be done, just think about what you are sharing with the public.

Re: ATS proximity cards

Hi ntk, i'm really happy somebody got back to my topic smile

I was considering buying proxmark (or maybe some cheaper open ones mentioned in some comparisons) but i'm terribly busy and not sure if having enough time to learn how to play with such analyzer. So being easy to start will be key for the decision.

I'm based in Slovakia. I'm not sure if sending a card is feasible, but i will consider.

yes, thank, need to be reminded of that all the time actually.

think to finally to spend time for tackling IRC because there is no PM on this forum...

have never used IRC before, is it hard to setup? To be honest I tried setup once before the Proxmark arrived, had vista, spent few hours to config, not getting no where, I gave up...

Definitely lack of knowledge in IRC and imagination could not help me

Just write in the bottom line of the chat window and press enter to send the message.

You shoul read the mIRC free software help to see how IRC works.
