Re: How to update on OSX - link to blogpost

I used this method and it installs ok, however where is the client folder?? When I run 'script list' or anything to do with creating a file from output ('hf mf chk') it fails..

I was very comfortable using the client folder to save my dumps etc, what is the workflow for the home brew install??

Because I did not like using this homebrew install because of this issue, and also the output of  hf mf chk is no longer a nicely formatted table which I rely on I decided not to use this.

Instead I tried to install v3.0.1 using the legacy method (Compiling from source manually) however when I used

make clean; make

it never outputs a proxmark3 Unix Executable, so

./proxmark3 /dev/cu.usbmodem####

does not work sad

I am stuck on the Iceman Fork and would really like to update!

... and what is the output from your compilation...

sidenote,
Offical pm3 firmware doesn't have the nice output everywhere,  thats more of a iceman fork feature...
