Normal for LF Simulation?

So I am sniffing and sim'ing a LF EM410. I've noticed out of 7, 8, 9 times of sliding, readjusting, or whatever it may only register on the reader once. So it can be a bit of a hassle to get a sim to be picked up by a reader. Is this normal for the antenna construction or do I have a problem?

Re: Normal for LF Simulation?

Depending if you are using latest source,  and how you do sim.  A common mistake is to keep pm3 in the reader field all the time.  You need to bring the pm3 in and out of the reader field.

Anyway, I tried yesterday, since we did some changes last week.  It simulates just fine for me on two different readers.

Re: Normal for LF Simulation?

Here is a video of me doing it. I couldn't even get it to register this time on the reader.

Oh man ok ok cancel cancel cancel. Forget I ever made a post. The battery just died and I tried it with it plugged into power and now it works perfect ;-) probably should have thought that before I thought there was something wrong with the hardware. Just a low battery.
