Pet project

Is there a script that will read an LF HID card and keep the Facility/Site code but, start incrementing the Card Number by 3 every 2 seconds? Can Gaucho's new GUI do that using XML or, will I need to create my own OSI commands?

Re: Pet project

I don't think the gui will be able to do that.
Maybe it will be possible with lua script... holiman ?

Re: Pet project

That is a typical case for a lua-script. It is not implemented yet, but it shouldn't be too difficult to write. I myself have very little experience with the LF-operations, so for me, that's the hard parts. I'll gladly help anyone out with the lua-bits to get such a script rolling.

There's a similar script I have in mind to write; doors that open based on mifare-cards. From what I understand, a facility reads a certain sector on the card. That sector contains the card number. It would be nifty to be able to do the same thing there, incrementing the card numbers (from a known card id).
