em410x module

Good Day,
I wasn't initially going to post this here, but maybe it could do better here.
Its a new module for reading, decoding and emulating em410x tags.

I wasn't going to post it here as it doesn't completely agree with the recommended coding style. However. I have included links to versions of the the modified source files.
The base version I was building upon was revision 702.

My original blog post contains a few screenshots of it in operation, but otherwise all the relevant files are above: (So I really don't mean to paste this link for self-advertisement.)

Thanks.
Rhys.

Re: em410x module

I'm not sure but, isn't that functionality already in Proxmark3?

Cheers!

Re: em410x module

Hi!
It is, but we found it too buggy and unreliable for the purpose of doing presentations.
Where it wouldn't successfully process parity and display the internal ID. Rather than correcting things I chose to rewrite.
Rhys.

Re: em410x module

Hi,

Is the em410xwrite command working for you ?

I have my T55x7 tags, but impossible to write / clone UID to them.

Re: em410x module

I never had access to any T55x7 tags to try.
I assume the problem is the same as I was having, most likely with the original parity function.

Re: em410x module

Hum I don't know, i'm using rev 702 patched with your files, it doesn't work much.

I always succeed to read EM4x ID (sometimes after mutiples tries, but un less than 5 seconds).
However, I never succeed to write any information (especially block 0) on a T55x7 tag.

That's why I asked if it worked for somebody, to check if the problem is from the proxmark code or my tags (btw : http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-shipping-10-pcs-lot-RFID-ID-Rewritable-Readable-T5567-T5577-T5557-Cards/725978734.html)

Thanks for you answer anyway smile

Re: em410x module

When you say it doesnt work much, are you using my function to read an em4x tag? If so Im completely confused as my experience was the direct opposite.
Well I'll have a look once I get my new proxmark soon (the one I was using belonged to my prior place of work).

Re: em410x module

Well, I'm using yours, and the original one, there is no difference for me : I can read em410x tags.
I wasn't able to write on a T55xx tag anyway, but I tried to order new T55xx cards, from ebay just in case... And it worked.

My new tags are writable, I guess the first Chinese supplier owned me smile
