About PM3 stand alone possibility

Hi PM3ers,

I'm about to buy a PM3 device and I'm not sure that have well understand if the PM3 device is able in its stand Alone mode  to authenticate for a mifare card and obtain the AR/NR ?

I need help about this ...

Hi,

I'm not really sure that my english is clear enough sorry for that ...

I would like to know if a "reader only attack" could be performed with the PM3 in stand alone mode or a is a PC always needed ...

current pm3 needs a usb connection to a usb host that has the pm3 client, could be an android phone , laptop , etc. you can use use a splitter cable with a usb battery to power it.

you can change the firmware code to do pre defined modes.
