Long range reading

Hi all,

I know this isn't a straight up Proxmark question, but I figured this might be the best place to ask.

I've been playing around with long range reading of LF tags. I've built a Tastic rfid thief which uses a Maxiprox 5375.

The Maxiprox can read HID cards but it doesn't recognise other 125khz tags (T55x7), no beep or anything.

Does anyone know if it is possible to use it to read other type of tags and get the raw data from the reader?

I've read up a bit on the Proxclone as well, and it seems the only difference between the Tastic and Proxclone is that that one uses a and Arduino and the other uses a SX28.
