Proxmark Forum Crawling speed

is it just me or for the last week or two has the time it takes to load a forum page gone from almost instant to 45+ seconds?  Occasionally it refuses to respond at all.  I've been wondering if the site was under attack or trying to be blocked/censored.  I've tried it from 5 different locations in NY over the past 1-2 weeks and it is always very slow now despite every other website loading as fast as ever.

Re: Proxmark Forum Crawling speed

That makes three of us over here in the US.
I am experiencing extremely long response times. I just give up most of the time.
It must either be due to a Proxmark server problem or maybe the NSA filters have been throttled back as a result of the recent holiday weekend. smile smile smile

Re: Proxmark Forum Crawling speed

Same speed issues here in Australia too.
A while ago I tried to encourage everyone to move to another system like Google Groups. Mostly for the spam, forum management and mailing list.

Re: Proxmark Forum Crawling speed

it probably wouldn't be easy to move existing content over, but this is getting annoying.

Re: Proxmark Forum Crawling speed

yeah its been better this afters.

Have to say i'm not a big fan of email based lists, they tend to get whiny fast, and gets to be all bike shedding.

Importing/exporting is a problem. There are a large number of useful pages that would be worthwhile bringing across. I'm not sure if it is worthwhile copying unanswered or out of date threads.

If possible, I would prefer to upgrade FluxBB and make some administrative changes to the forums first. If we are still experiencing problems then it would be worthwhile migrating elsewhere (IMHO).

Re: Proxmark Forum Crawling speed

Same problem here...
The worst is when I empty my Browser Cache and have to login again... Almost impossible.

I just don't know where to begin.

First, probably not the best idea to hijack a post that is completely unrelated.  Second, there are so many places you could have gone wrong in your scenario that without a lot more details no one will be able to help you out.  But please do not post those details here start your own question.
