Purchased LF Antenna Read-only

Hi, I'm Scott, and I just received my Proxmark3.

It can read HID cards and fobs just fine, but I hope that you'll have some feedback to help me troubleshoot a problem write/clone/simulate commands.  I’m using the LF antenna and Proxmark3 purchased via the website.

proxmark3> hw version

proxmark3> # HF antenna:  0.35 V @    13.56 MHz
proxmark3> # Your HF antenna is unusable.

I have RFID readers that can read HID Proxkey fobs and HID cards, but I can’t simulate the same card and get the reader to see it.
I’m not able to clone to a T5577 card or get any reader to acknowledge that the antenna is doing anything.  I’ve tried stand-alone mode as well without success.  I read that my antenna voltage should be at least 12v, but I've also read the getting started guide that shows over 30v.

Thoughts?  Suggestions?

Re: Purchased LF Antenna Read-only

Lf works best on 20V+
Hf on 10V+

Yours seems a bit low for 125khz.

Try

>lf read
>data samples 40000
>data plot

With tag on antenna. You ll see if you get a usable wave or if its too weak.

LF waveform test data samples 40000

It doesn't look completely garbled to me...

I haven't had any problem reading HID fobs or cards, just emulating them.

Re: Purchased LF Antenna Read-only

It looks like the problem was a loose connection where the cable connects to the Proxmark.  It works fine now.
