presco was discussed on this topic.http://www.proxmark.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=2795

if you are using the latest github code it should not be difficult to read the tag.

One of these days someone should update the xml file for it.  Knowing the command client makes it easy for you to switch between different client versions.

I tried to update to 2.5.0 but failed, I followed the instruction but suddenly a windows pop up shows "the program can't start because libusb0.dll is missing from your computer".

you are trying the precompiled distro by Asper.  Its old.

Try @gator96100 's newer environment,  http://www.proxmark.org/forum/viewtopic … 534#p25534

or try my docker container,
or run a linuxdistro (in a virtual box?)

Thx, I just got my PM3 for 1 week and I have zero knowledge of using github and I had a hard time finding a clear instruction to update firmware, but I will try my best to figure it out.

Read the wiki,  and some sticky threads here,  and some readme.files from repo,  and you should have a better picture
