Hi everyone,
I have read all the documentation I can find on how to setup the ProxMark3 and I am confused on what is occuring, or better yet why it is not working.
I have flashed the device with the following flash:
bootrom: / -suspect 2015-11-19
os: master/-suspect 2017-04-20
When I run hw tune, the results always return with:
Your LF antenna is marginal
Your HF antenna is unusable
Any other command that I run just won't return any information.
I have a feeling that the setup is not correct. Can anyone provide some feedback to help me understand if mysetup is correct?
Should I reflash the device with a specific firmware that is known to work better?
Thanks! Appreciate any help!

where did you get the "following flash:" ? your output does not appear to be a direct copy paste of the true output.
there isn't enough information here to really go on, could you provide more details?

Hi marshmellow,
Please find below the additional information requested from the proxmark3 application.

Interesting. Well I'm sure you've already done it double and triple check your antenna connections. It may be possible that one of them or both were damaged in shipping. If this is a recent purchase I would contact your seller.

Yes, I just received the proxmark3 yesterday. I will contact the seller. I did check the connections and even swapped the wires to make sure it wasn't a bad wire. Not sure what else checking the wires can entail.
What should the expected behavior have been? what should I have seen at this point?

I have to double-check but I believe you're running a current firmware. Your antenna voltage value should be much higher over 20 Volts for low frequency and around 15 for high frequency

Are there tags on the antennas when you ran the command?

Can you post a picture of you device. And recheck your antenna connections.

Thanks for your support! Things seem to be working better now.
What i did was the following: disconnected all antennas and wires from the main board and reconnected them for the 100th time
I also reflashed the OS on the board.
I can now tune with no issues. I even read a HID card.
Thanks for you help!
Next if anyone has a good tutorial on how to use the device in PC free mode it would be appreciated.
Ultimately, I have been asked to evaluate how easy it is to clone an HID card for work and evaluate how an SEOS card would behave. From my reading it seems it should not be too hard to attack an HID card, but we still have to prove it within our environment.
Does any documentation exist around SEOS cards?
Any documentation that i can focus on to try to achieve this would really help.
Thanks!
