Hello all,
I am looking for some information on how to emulate an EM4100 card with an EM4305.
I have read on the forum that it should be doable, but I have no idea on where to begin.
(I am looking specifically to understand the EM4305 chip. I have succesfully cloned an EM4100 card with a T5577 card, so I am not looking for a cloning solution)
Thanks !

Find a em4x05 datasheet. It is essential for even understanding the block layout of the chip.

The 4305 can't emulate the 4100 because it has a different modulation type. The AT5577 can emulate the 4100 because it has PSK modulation as an emulation setting.

@hkplus, that information is incorrect.

I don't think 4305 has PSK but I could be wrong.

EM4100 is ASK/Manchester not PSK.

There is a PSK version of the part. According to the 4100 datasheet: Data can be coded as Manchester, Biphase or PSK.

the psk version is a special order chip and is pretty rare, and not mentioned by the OP. the vast majority of these are ask/manchester.

The PSK version is definitely used in access control applications. I'm pretty sure that the 4305 can't emulate the 4100 but if I'm wrong that's fine too...i learn tons on this forum.

it can emulate the ask/manchester and ask/biphase versions of the EM4100 chips. PSK would take a special EM4305 chip.
