New to RFID

I'm a tinkerer and slowly getting into exploring RFID technology.  I've had experience playing around with key fobs for my current organization (we deal with a variety of existing technology).  I've had little to no difficulties playing around with low frequency fobs and reading their contents and creating duplicates for my organizations daily purposes.

That being said I'm slowly getting into high frequency fobs.  Primarily my own work fob as it has seen better days and I'm looking to replace it with a card format if that's even possible.

I'm hopeful that I can learn from some of the people in the forms and move forward with my knowledge of how these complicated little devices work.
