Proxmark III does not work properly

Hello People,

I'm a student of mastering in Computer Science
My research area is Data Security with Smart Cards.

I bought the proxmark with antennas, but in my preliminar tests it was unable to capture the communication between tag and reader.
Maybe there is a trick that I don't know. Can be to a wrong firmware version, ...

I saw some people reporting that depends on the positioning of the antenna and so on.
Do someone know if there is a light at the end of the tunnel?
What I was doing wrong?

Dear Wellington,

Thank you for your question. The Ghost is obsolete in many ways, I suggest you use the Proxmark to eavesdrop any RFID traffic.
