[Solved] Viking tag on Kali, RDV4

Hi,

I'm having an issue copying a Viking tag to a T5577 tag using RDV4. Any help would be appreciated !

1. original tag shows up as Viking tag using lf search
2. blank t5577 tag shows up as 'EM410x ID' using lf search.
3. lf viking clone 0123A7FE
4. blank t5577(EM410x) changed its tag type to Viking ID when lf search was done, but the Card ID remained FFFFFFFF and not 0123A7FE.

Basically, the blank tag changes its type to Viking, but not the actual Card ID when 'lf viking clone xxxxxxxx' was performed, therefore not giving the same access when checked with the reader.

The blank tag t5577(EM410x) has no issue as I've used chinese cloner to clone the tag and it worked.

I think it's either with the command or the proxmark3 itself.

Any help would be appreciated !

It turns out it was due to the unstable bleeding edge release. All good now !
