fw mismatch
Hey there,
i have an RDV4.01 with Blueshark installed. I get the following error:
device.................... device / fw mismatch
firmware.................. RDV4
external flash............ present
smartcard reader.......... present
FPC USART for BT add-on... present
mem info gives:
[=] --- Flash memory Information ---------
[snip]
[=] --- RDV4 RSA signature ---------------
[snip]
[-] ⛔ Signature............ ( fail )
[=] --- RDV4 RSA Public key --------------
[+] RRG/Iceman RSA public key check.... ( ok )
[-] ⛔ Genuine Proxmark3 RDV4 signature detected... ❌
What does it mean?
How may I fix this?

You can ignore that message. We use it to detect if someone tried to flash RDV4 compile firmware onto a generic pm3 device.
In your case, it is notifying that the signature is not there anymore which seem to happens ppl who bought from LAB401 the last months.

I did not buy from Lab401 but from Sneak.Technology. Is their stock legit?

Whew, I have the same issue and bought from Sneak, glad to hear its legit. Wont connect to chameleon on the droid however, and no longer shows up tp walrus. Ill read on and figure it out tho. Not looking for spoonfeeding,, ...not yet.... lol

WHat do you mean by : wont donnect to chameleon on droid? Why would the pm3 connect to the chameleon app on android anyway?
I actually have the problem that the chameleon Mini device does not connect to the android app via BT.
and both, pm3 and chameleon mini wont show up in Walrus either.
I suspect my chameleon BT is broken or the firmware is bad, but no idea with the pm3 would not show up in Walrus. It does work with the RRG RFID Tools app.

You have to read the advanced compilation steps (https://github.com/RfidResearchGroup/proxmark3/blob/master/doc/md/Use_of_Proxmark/4_Advanced-compilation-parameters.md) and select pm3 generic firmware.
Also, why don't you have discord?
