Vehicle decals tag?

Hi,

Have anybody try to read or clone vehicle decals tag?

Normal the vehicle reader is a distance away and still able to read the vehicle decals tag in the car, don think it's those type of proximity tag.
Can it be those ISO/IEC 15693 for vicinity tag?As this type of tag,can read from a greater distance as compared to proximity tag.

ISO/IEC 15693 systems operate at the 13.56 MHz frequency, and offer maximum read distance of 1-1.5 metres.

2.45 GHz active RFID tags?

Thank you for reading this post, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Vehicle decals tag?

Please supply more (technical) details about these tags, it is hard to talk about a cloning if details of the frequency/manufacturer/product you are using is unknown. It could also be 433 MHz KeeLoq for example, of 868MHz Zigbee... or much more wink

Re: Vehicle decals tag?

There is another type of vehicle tag used in parking garages. Its freq is around 900MHz and the reader is usually mounted on the ceiling at a angle above the gate. Any tag above 13.56MHz is beyond the scope of this forum and unfortunately outside the capabilities of the PM3.
