Re: hf 14a snoop/list

Okay I am able to put it in snoop mode but it stays on forever and I don't know if it is supposed to stop after a while or keep going so I press the button and it goes back to the mode attached to the computer. when I type hf 14a list instead of listing the traces of the rfid tags it just sits there blinking is it waiting for something or is something wrong I am not sure but thats whats happening.

Re: hf 14a snoop/list

You've left me with little information socio101.
What build are you using?
Have you updated the PM3?

Snoop will eventually exit out when buffer is full. If you keep snooping transactions, the PM3 will usually exit out pretty quickly.

I'm assuming you're talking about MIFARE Classic?

RFID is a term normally used for low frequency tags with unidirectional communication to the PCD.
NFC is a term normally used for high frequency tags with bidirectional communications with the PCD. <- MIFARE

Re: hf 14a snoop/list

Try pressing the button on the device while it is in the "snoop" mode. That should make it exit. After that, You should be able to see what it captured with "hf 14a list".
