Question related to ISO14443B' and Mifare Classic / Mifare Plus

Hi,

For the moment I only have the SCL3711.
I would like to know if the Proxmark3 is able to decode, dump, write, and interact with this kind of card :

1 ISO14443B' passive target(s) found:
ISO/IEC 14443-4B' (106 kbps) target:
                DIV: 24  b6  ed  e7
   Software Version: Undefined
                ATS: 3b  6f  00  00  80  5a  0a  01  03  20  03  11  24  a7  df  d8  82  90  00

Also, is this one is a Mifare Classic or a Mifare Plus ?
How to know for sure ?

1 ISO14443A passive target(s) found:
ISO/IEC 14443A (106 kbps) target:
    ATQA (SENS_RES): 00  42
* UID size: double
* bit frame anticollision supported
       UID (NFCID1): 04  2a  1d  f1  10  1a  60
      SAK (SEL_RES): 18
* Not compliant with ISO/IEC 14443-4
* Not compliant with ISO/IEC 18092

Fingerprinting based on MIFARE type Identification Procedure:
* MIFARE Classic 4K
* MIFARE Plus (7 Byte UID) 4K, Security level 1

Re: Question related to ISO14443B' and Mifare Classic / Mifare Plus

For what I know ISO14443B' is a proprietary (Innovatron) and undocumented old protocol from which the new ISO14443B was created so pm3 is not able to full manage it (you can try with ISO14443B raw commands with no guarantee).

Re: Question related to ISO14443B' and Mifare Classic / Mifare Plus

Ok thanks, I will give it a shot with ISO14443B because the protocol hasn't change much between ISO14443B and ISO14443B'. So it should work with little fix.

What about the second question about which of Mifare Classic or a Mifare Plus is the card detect from nfc-list ?

Re: Question related to ISO14443B' and Mifare Classic / Mifare Plus

Your second question can very easily be solved with google (AN10833 pdf); your tag can be both of the 2 mentioned by the software, it is impossible to know which one using atqa and sak so you must study their pdf to see if there is a method to discriminate them. If you will find the answer feel free to post it here. Anyway, 7bytes uid makes me think it is a mifare plus wink

Meanwhile there should be Mifare Classic cards with 7 Byte UID.

But there is a possibility to distinguish them: A Mifare Plus card in SL1 lies on its compliance to ISO14443-4. It should answer to a RATS request. A Mifare Classic won't.

Ok thank you both of you !

A following question, do you know any other method than mfoc to dump a Mifare Classic ? (For me after 48h and probes set to 10000 it was still on the first undiscovered sector.)

I found other project but outdated, the libs upgrade make the compilation fail.
