Hi, I tried the "hf mf sniff" command today, but it doesn't seem to work. I have an ACR122U reader with a Mifare Classic 1k card placed on it and the proxmark's antenna is directly placed on top of the card.
I start the command as follows:
proxmark3> hf mf sniff l
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Executing command.
Press the key on the proxmark3 device to abort both proxmark3 and client.
Press the key on pc keyboard to abort the client.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
.........................................................................
The red and yellow LEDs of the proxmark keep blinking constantly, but the command doesn't seem to return. I issued some commands to read the card's content with the reader and I waited quite a while, but the command does not terminate. Pressig the button on the proxmark eventually terminates the command, but I don't get any useful output and no log file is created.
Am I doing anything wrong here? Btw, I'm using rev 839.

There's a patch in the works, if you have time to wait for it I suggest you do that. Always easier to get support here in the forum for HEAD-revision than old revisions with other potential problems.

Committed r845 today which should fix the problem.

I really didn't use hf 14a snoop or hf mf sniff until I tested my recent patches. In fact I found that it could not have been too reliable in the past. Didn't you experience weird CRC! errors or shortened tag or reader responses?
Committed r846 which should be more reliable.
